Gregory Rotz

Greg Rotz is a Principal with PwC and leads the transformation consulting practice focused on Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences (PLS). He brings nearly 25 years of experience shaping and serving the C-suite agenda for his clients.

In his sector leadership role, Greg’s focus is to ensure PwC is well-equipped to support PLS clients on their transformation journey. He has responsibility for setting the strategic direction for the practice and growing PwC’s PLS business across the value chain, from R&D to Commercialization.

In addition to his practice leadership role, Greg is the lead client partner for a major pharmaceutical company. In this capacity, he works across a team of global partners to bring the full complement of PwC services to the client.

Greg’s career has been anchored in strategy consulting, and he maintains an active portfolio of client engagements. He has helped leaders across the industry to set enterprise direction, build strategic capabilities in response to industry shifts, drive organic and inorganic growth and address issues related to profitability and resource allocation. He is a sought-after expert for media outlets covering life sciences and a regular contributor of original thought leadership on issues facing the industry. Greg has been recognized by his clients for his ability to work effectively across the organization, from the ‘Board Room’ to the ‘War Room.’

Greg came to PwC with the acquisition of Booz & Company, where he led the North American Life Sciences team. Prior to Booz & Company, Greg was a partner with Marakon Associates, where he focused on CEO-led programs to drive shareholder value.

Greg has a degree in public policy analysis from the College of William and Mary.  He and his wife live in Arlington, Virginia with their two boys.
